Adding Facebook Comment Box Plugin to Blogger Blog is a great way to improve blogger conversation between you and you blog readers or visitors. I tried every online tutorial on how to use HTML to add this to blogger, but all failed. Until I discovered this step of adding it to Blogger Layout myself.
The Facebook comment box is one of the top Facebook Comment Plugins that are used on many websites and blogs. Facebook comment box has become a strategy to increase the quality comments and user engagement. When you are using the Facebook comment box on your website, you can reduce the spam comments and maintain the quality of your comments. Another thing is, Facebook allows people to share their comments to their timeline. So if you have installed Facebook comment box on your Blogspot blog, you can expect some decent traffic from those comments.
Before you can be able to put the Facebook Comment Plugin to your Blogger Blog, you would have to Create a Facebook App ID for your Blog page on Facebook. That is for your to integrate this plugin on your blog, you must first have a Facebook page.
Firstly, Let's look at how you can create a Facebook App ID
1. Make sure you are logged on to your Facebook Account, click on this link to go to the Facebook Apps
2. Click on Create/Add New App
3. You should see something like the pics below
4. Fill in all the boxes with your Page Name and fill the NAme Space with something like this my_naija_place as shown in the pics above. the Name Space does not accept any Upper Case/Capital Letters. In the CATEGORY SECTION, Choose APP FOR PAGE
5. When you are done , Click the the Create App ID button
6. You should now be taken to another point where you will see your APP ID and APP Secret
7. You can save this on a notepad for future reasons
8. Go to SETTINGS on the LEFT CORNER
16. Now to get the Code to place on your blog, Click on the Facebook Comment Box Plugin here . You will be redirected to another windows, Go to Social Plugins by the left corner and click on Comments. You can set you Facebook Comment Box to any colour you want depending on how your blog/website looks like. As for me I choose the Default Light Colour Scheme.
17. Now Click the GET CODE button to get your code, you should now see two pieces of codes like in the picture below. This code is for one of my pages

12. Click on the Status and Review, to set how you want your Facebook Comment Box to appear.
13. Click on the YES button, to make the App available to the general public. A pop up window should show up like in the pics below. Then Click on "CONFIRM"
14. After clicking on confirm the YES will now show like in the pics below
15. Go to the Top Tab, as shown in the screenshot below and click on "Tools", to set your "Comment Moderation Tools" . Comment Moderation Tools help you add YOURSELF or OTHER FRIENDS to your comment box, who are allowed to modify comments. As for me I added just myself.
16. Now to get the Code to place on your blog, Click on the Facebook Comment Box Plugin here . You will be redirected to another windows, Go to Social Plugins by the left corner and click on Comments. You can set you Facebook Comment Box to any colour you want depending on how your blog/website looks like. As for me I choose the Default Light Colour Scheme.

18. Copy code one after the other and save on the same Notepad. We would need both codes later on.
Now we are through on how to get Facebook Comment Box Plugins...
Let us go to the next step on how to add the code to our Blogger without touching our HTML Template.
How To Add Facebook Comment Box Code to Blogger Layout
1. Log in to Blogger.com
2. Go to Blogger Dashboard and select Layout
3. Click on Add a Gadget to add the above code we derived, a New Window should pop up
4. Scroll down to HTML/JAVASCRIPT
5. Click on HTML/JAVASCRIPT
6. Add the two codes to the space, you can give it any title such as "We Love Comments", Let's Hear You Say Your Mind" etc and click on the SAVE button
7. Make sure to move the gadget below post for a better fit to your blog. This will always appear at the end of every post you make.
