Zamzar.com: How I Converted .OGG Audio File to MP3 For Free

For some days now I have been trying to convert an audio file I recorded with my phone to create a YouTube video. After recording my voice, I noticed I couldn't upload the audio file to my PowerPoint presentation. then I noticed the file was recorded as an OGG file which isn't compatible to creating an audio voice for a presentation on PowerPoint. After much research on what I could do to make the voice upload and play, I had to convert the file from OGG to MP3. Here is how I concerted the file for free using zamzar.com 

HOW I CONVERTED AN OGG FILE TO MP3 FOR FREE

1. Go to www.zamzar.com  (you do not have to download anything)

2. Go to the STEP 1, Click on the "Choose File" to select your ogg audio file from your laptop or tab

3 . Once you choose your file, it will appear in a table below showing the file type, size etc.

4. Choose MP3 in the Step 2, as the format you want the file to be converted to.

5. Insert your email in order to receive the file when it has being converted

6. Click on Convert in Step 4

7. After your file finish converting, you will see a notification showing File Upload Completed

8. Go straight to your email to view the uploaded file just like you can see in the picture below.

9. Click on the link of the converted file that was sent to your mail in order to download the file (as sown above).




10. When  you click on the link, you will be redirected to the zamzar website where you can download the file now to your PC or tab.






11. Now Click on the Download Now Button

12. After a successful download, you should be able to see your file in MP3 format, like the file you are seeing in the screenshot below showing MY VOICE OVER....

That's all !!!



But note that there is a limit to the size of the file (100MB) you can upload to convert if you do not sign up for a paid program, and your file also stays on the site just for a day before it is removed. So try as much as you can to download your file immediately you receive your mail.
