How To Detect Fraudulent Diamond Bank, Zenith Bank or GTBank Emails

For sometime now I have been receiving several mails from online scammers from the three Nigerian banks (Diamond Bank, Zenith Bank and Guaranty Trust Bank). The reason I made this blog post is to make sure people like you do not fall for these scams . I read on social media how a woman clicked on a GTbank link because of fear of them deducting her money, at the end all the money in her bank account was wiped out because of her fears and her hurry to click on a link sent to her through a Phishing mail..

These mail appear to be real, if you are not careful enough, you might fall prey of these scams. In this post I have highlighted in detail with picture examples, how you can spot fraudulent mails...

Here are some screenshots of scam mails sent as GTBank Emails...

Here Are Some Scam Emails Sent As Diamond Bank Emails...

Here Is How To Detect An Original Mail Sent By Your Bank

1. The Email must carry a customised email address of the bank for example GTBank Email carries "gtbank@gtbank.com"
2. Your bank will never ask you to click on any link or call any number
3.  Any Email sent to you asking you to send your BVN details or ATM Details is a scam. Don't SEND!
4. You can also call your bank customer care to confirm if they sent you any email you may not be totally sure of.

This email is an example of a genuine mail sent by Diamond Bank to me
This is also a genuine GTBank Email.
Do you have anyone who may have fallen prey to these scam mails sent to their mailbox. Please endeavour to SHARE this post with them.

YOU MAY ALSO DO WELL TO SEND THIS POST TO OTHER FRIENDS AND FAMILIES IN ORDER FOR THEM NOT TO FALL VICTIM OF THESE KIND OF MAILS>>>
