How to Register For Your Voters' Card Via INEC Website

 The elections in Nigeria is fast approaching as different candidates are beginning to show their interests in various political seats from the Presidential Election to the Governorship elections down to the Local Government. 

It is mandatory as citizens of Nigeria to ensure you register to get your voters' card, as this is your ticket to choosing who will rightly represent the nation in Political and Economic affairs.  

As a New Voter, you can Pre-Register online, or as a Registered Voter, you can Review your Voter Registration, Request to Update your Information or Transfer your Voter Registration to another Polling Unit.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR INEC VOTERS' CARD

1. Visit https://cvr.inecnigeria.org/

2. Click on Get Started 

3. Click on the NEW VOTER PRE-REGISTRATION (If you are a new voter) or

   b. Click on the VOTER INFORMATION REVIEW (if you have registered before)

  c. You can also LOCATE REGISTRATION CENTRES (close to you, if you want to complete your registration like taking your biometrics)

4. As a NEW VOTER, you would need to create an account on the INEC Portal .

You would have to enter your First Name, Last Name/Surname, Mobile Number, Email Address, Password. 

NOTE: You would have to check the Security Box to show that you are not a robot, then click on the Continue button.  #Also use a password you can easily remember#

After Registration, Try to Log In to the INEC website by entering your email and password

Then follow the steps to applying for your voters card'. After entering your details, you will need to go to a Registration Centre to capture your Biometrics.
