Adding a twitter follow button could be a great way to get more twitter follower, who are interested in your blog post which your share on twitter.
Once a person likes the content on your Blog/Website, the person clicks on the twitter follow button on your blog to follow your post you share directly on twitter. Having a twitter follow button on Blogger Blog is great way of attracting more twitter followers. I have tried it personally and it works greatly for me.
The Follow button, allows users to follow your account directly from your personal homepage or any website where the button is installed. When users click this button, the following occurs:
=> For logged in users, a small pop-up screen displays with more information about your account when they click the button.
=> User who aren't logged in to Twitter will see a similar pop-up screen that allows them to view your account's following/follower information, sign in, and then follow you.
How To Add Twitter Follow Button To Your Website/Blogspot Blog:
1. Log in to your Twitter account.
2. Go to https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons#follow (you will be redirected to another tab as screenshot below).
3. Customize the Follow button to your liking with the available options ( You can use your name or a pseudonym you are well known with, as for me I used my own name)
4. Copy and paste the code into the HTML of your Website/ Blogger Layout wherever you would like the button to appear.

1. Login to www.blogger.com or www.blogspot.com
2. Go to your Blogger Dashboard
3. Click on Layout
4. Next, click on "Add a Gadget" (Note: A new window will pop up)
5. Scroll down to find HTML/JAVASCRIPT, as shown in the image below
6. Click on HTML/JAVASCRIPT
7. Then, Paste Twitter Follow Button HTML Code and Save
