Due to the recent directives by Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), on telecommunication users to link their National Identification Numbers with their phone lines. AIRTEL has gone ahead to disconnect non-compliant customers by restricting them from making calls as directed by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
There has been an uproar since the incident on the 5th of April, 2022.
Users of AIRTEL mobile network has been worried on how the incident could affect their business and relationships at large. 
If your line has been disconnected and you have tried every means to connect back. Today I will be showing you a sure way you can connect your airtel line back with your NIN.
With this method you can submit your NIN for a friend or family. (NOTE: You have to tell them to provide their phone number and BVN and they also have to be at alert to send you the One Time Pin (OTP) that will be sent to their number or email address)
TWO WAYS TO CONNECT YOU NIN TO YOUR AIRTEL NUMBER
METHOD 1: Dial *121# on your phone and follow the prompt
METHOD 2:
Step 1: Go to https://www.airtel.com.ng/nin/ (enter your phone number then click on send OTP) then click on PROCEED)
NOTE: When entering the number remove the zero (0) in front of it. It must be 10 digits and not 11
Step 4: Here, the space to enter your NIN will be provided as shown in the image below. Enter your 11 Digits NIN, then click on PROCEED.
Step 5: You should receive a confirmation message showing that your details have been successfully submitted.
Kindly wait for at least 24-48hours for the linking to be done.
To find NIN location nearest to you if you do not have a NIN dial*386#.
